Limited Edition 900 Fountain pen
Maki-E Artist: UnidentifiedLimited Edition: #390/900 Year: 2008Pilot 90th Anniversary 18K 750 gold #10 Size Medium (M) Nib
In 2008, Pilot 90th Anniversary is celebrated with an extremely interesting maki-e collection called the Toki Raden (LE900) and the premium edition, Toki ([Japanese Crested Ibis - The Toki is the representative bird of Japan) LE90.  The former is a simple vest type with a silver ibis inlaid at the cap band by hyomon and decorated with raden.  However, the beauty of the premium Toki is dazzling with kinji, rankaku, taka maki-e, raden and shishi-ai taka maki-e.
With gold dust on black lacquer, the 90th anniversary commemorative fountain pen is exquisitely crafted using the traditional Japanese Maki-e techniques of Togidashi-Taka Maki-e and Raden techniques. Medium 18ct white gold nib imprinted with 90th Anniversary. Includes original wooden box, packaging, ink bottle, certificate and instruction manual.Unused and uninked. Mint condition.Year of production: 2008Limited Edition: #390/900
